GellyBall Gel Battle FAQ’s
How is GellyBall Played?
Depending on the type of event, age group and number of players, we run a variety of games which may include team battles, capture the flag, traitor town, one-on-one or two-on-two championships and more. Your BMAZ Host will organize and run the games during your party.
We typically play in 2 teams of up to 6 on each team.
Our general rules of conduct are posted in the arena and we expect respect for other players, as well as our staff, equipment and facility.
There should be no physical contact between players or equipment. Our arena, bunkers and decore are not designed to be climbed upon or moved.
What equipment is required?
We provide all the necessary equipment as part of your party fee.
Our equipment includes: our battery-powered automatic gel-blasting pistol, full-face protective mask and ammo.
You do not need to own or bring any special equipment.
Group Play and Party Packages include UP TO 10 masks and blasters. Additional masks may be available to use for a small fee. Guests are provided with sanitizing wipes if they wish to clean the masks between players in their group!
We maintain 2 sets of masks in order to accomodate back-to-back groups.
Please do not take masks off our wall as they may be needed for the next group. Our staff will provide you with up to 10 masks.
How Many Players can Play GellyBall?
Private events include up to 12 players at a time. You can have up to 12 players in your party package (additional players extra). For walk-in play, we will rotate players so you ay be waiting a turn.
We also recommend our unlimited ammo add-on.
Do you sell GellyBall Equipment?
Yes. We are an official, authorized dealer for Gellyball brand equipment. We carry a limited supply of equipment for retail sale.
Do you clean the equipment?
Yes! Between groups, we clean and disinfect our masks and the party room tables. We make disinfectant wipes available for guests to clean masks between players if they wish.
What should I wear?
We recommend bringing an extra layer (such as a light jacket or hoodie) until you know how the impact will feel. Bring or wear something with long sleeves and long pants until you can decide whether to shed a layer.
We also recommend wearing older clothes that can get dirty or stained just in case.
Our Glowing tracer ammo can leave a colored residue on clothes and skin. In our experience this washes out, however, we always recommend wearing clothing that can get dirty and possibly even stained.
What ages can play GellyBall?
Every player is different. We allow players as young as 5 because the equipment is easy to use.
When booking your event or considering walking-in, keep in mind that younger players will have a hard time participating with older players and may face higher risk of injury when playing with older or larger players.
Does it hurt to get shot?
Each person’s sensitivity to the impact is different.
We compare the feeling to getting snapped with a rubber band.
GellyBall is much lower impact than paintball and airsoft.
Impact particularly at close range and on bare skin may leave a red mark. Red marks on bare skin or through thin or tight layers of clothes are common from close range combat – in our experience, these marks are not painful but can be apparent for some time.
is a waiver required?
Yes. please complete a waiver for each player using the tab at the bottom of the screen or this link (click here).
Our electronic waiver can be completed in advance and must be on file for every participant. For your convenience, a parent or legal guardian may easily include multiple minors on one waiver.
What is your GellyBall Arena made of?
Our indoor facility has about 1200 sq ft of dedicated arena. The arena is decorated with various objects like barrels, panels, plants, pallets, blocks and other items that we periodically rearrange to keep the arena fresh for returning guests.
Our green carpet turf helps keep the players safe.
We have mounted blacklights around the arena and decorated with uv reactive paint and features along with fog machines to add to the experience. We call this Glow Mode and it is now included with every event!

Ages
BMAZ activities are designed for a wide age range to enjoy and we adjust the settings and objectives to match the experience and ability of the age group playing.
We recommend parties and groups of ages 7 to adult. While ages 5 and 6 are allowed to play some of our activities, we do not recommend groups of or parties for ages 6 and below.
Consider adding our new preschool room to entertain up to 5 younger guests.
ADULTS are welcome and encouraged to participate. over 25% of our events are 'adult-only'!
Check-in, Check-out, Early Check-In
Check-in is always the time you selected for your appointment during booking. Your check-in time is listed on your confirmation and reminder emails.
Early check-in option is available during booking and is still the time you select at booking. You will not have access prior to the time you select. Be sure to tell your guests to arive 15-20min after check-in IF you chose early check-in option.
Party Packages
(1 or 2hr) include use of one of our party rooms and up to 12 players for your choice of one activity played throughout your selected time slot (choose laser tag, gellyball or "active arcade").
Our EPIC party is 2.5hrs for up to 20 players to try multiple activities and also includes a party room.
Additional players can be added to any party package for an additional fee.
Check-in for reservations, party packages and access to the party room begins at the time you selected to start your appointment. If you need more time, please book additional time and ask your guests to arrive later.
FOOD, DRINK & PARTY SUPPLIES
are allowed in the party room for your party package (or if you reserved a Party Room). Be sure to bring all the accessories you may need. A small freezer is available for your use during your reserved party room time.
Remove all items that you brought and clean up the party room no later than your check-out time. A cleaning fee will be added to your bill for leaving a mess or staying past your selected time slot. See "cleaning requirements" below for details.
The party room (if reserved or included in your package) is your private space. Please do not overflow into the hallways or use other spaces for your party activties. Food, drinks and personal items must remain in the party room. Do not interfere with other guests' ability to use the public spaces.
Outside Drinks are allowed anytime. A limited selection of beverages is also available for purchase.
Outside Food is permitted only with your party package or party room reservation and only in the party room.
A limited selection of snacks is available for purchase.
Cleaning fees will be incurred for any guest that leaves a mess.

Outside Drinks are allowed anytime. A limited selection of beverages is also available for purchase.

Check-in begins promptly at your selected start time. Your party host will end all play and remind you to clean up and load out during the last 10 minutes of your appointment. Please clean up and settle your balance no later than your check-out time.
Check-In time is the time you selected for your apointment during booking. You may choose to add "early check-in" and your check-in time will still be the time you selected. Be sure to tell your guests to arrive 15-20min later.
Cleaning Requirements (Party Room)
Cleaning requirements: wipe tables & chairs and sweep the floor, cleaning up any mess or spills with the provided wipes and broom/dustpan by the end of your reserved time.
Please clean up any mess made by your group in the hallways, restrooms or other areas. We will empty the trash cans.
Alternatively, you may add "Cleaning done for you" option to your reservation, and we will clean up the party room for you, just remove all personal your items by the end of your reserved time.

Payment
PAYMENT for per-game or hourly play may be required upfront. Payment for party packages is usually settled at the end of your event by cash, or card. A credit card or deposit may be required when you reserve online to hold your spot. Please bring a payment method for the balance.
We accept cash, credit/debit cards as well as our own gift cards or prepaid play cards.
Private Access, After hours, Large Groups
Private Access events as well as after-hours and large groups are available. Contact us to discuss.

Cancellations & Reschedule Requests
Please use the link on your confirmation email Cancellations and reschedule requests must be received through our Square booking engine no less than 48 hours before your scheduled check-in time. With less than 48hours notice, you may be charged a cancellation, no-show or reschedule fee of at least $99.
